Sports and vehicles are connected in several ways, not least of which by the long-running partnership between Jeep and Juventus.
For ten years, as of July 2022, the Italian-based football club Juventus has been sponsored by Jeep because of the two group’s shared values and commitment to excellence. Now, Jeep is celebrating this success while also expressing how the company plans to move forward.
So what do we know about the ten-year relationship between these companies, and what will we see at Jeep dealers in the future?
Past Decade of Jeep and Juventus
The partnership between Juventus and Jeep started in the 2012-2013 Italian Serie A pre-season. The deal includes Jeep branding on the front of the men’s and women’s jerseys. During that time, both have achieved great success.
In the past ten years, Juventus has won 29 trophies for their successful soccer teams, and Jeep has released nine SUVs and several new technological advancements that have put the company’s vehicles at the forefront of the automotive market.
While celebrating the success of their partnership on social media, Jeep is also showing no intention of slowing down! Jeep is already considering how to move forward, especially in the electric vehicle market.

Jeep’s Plans to Move Forward
Like many other automotive manufacturers, Jeep is heading full force into the electric vehicle market. The company has made 4xe technology a staple of its innovative vehicle manufacturing. These vehicles combine power, durability, reliability, and now forward-thinking technology to give drivers the best experience possible.
Jeep began the first steps into electrification for their vehicles back in 2020 with plug-in hybrid technology. In the two years since then, the company has improved its 4xe technology and introduced new e-hybrid tech as part of its goal of zero-emission freedom for Jeep drivers.
This electrification process can be seen best by looking at the new vehicles that Jeep has released this year.
New Jeep Models
Some new models Jeep has released recently have been well-favored in Europe -for example, the Compass has been the highest-selling LEV model in Italy. 4xe models accounted for over 40% of Jeep’s sales in the European market in June 2021, meaning Jeep is still going strong.
This is excellent news for the new models that have come out this year and are planned for 2023.
Jeep’s newest models are the culmination of multiple years of research and development for the best EVs. This year, Jeep’s Renegade and Compass have been equipped with e-hybrid technology, and next year you’ll be able to see a fully-electric B-UV SUV and Grand Cherokee 4xe at your local Jeep dealer.
