The 2022 Nissan Armada: Seat 8 in a V8

Nissan Armada

The new 2022 Nissan Armada is ready to roll with seating for eight, a V8 engine, a stylish yet rugged exterior, and an intelligent 4×4 system to conquer many types of terrain. For those who want a full-size SUV with both class and utility, the Nissan Armada is definitely worth checking out.
Let’s take a look at what this four-door Nissan SUV does well.

Versatile and Cavernous Interior

The first thing you’ll notice upon seeing the 2022 Nissan Armada up close is how big the inside is. Whether you’re in the driver’s compartment, the rear second row, or the rear third row, the Armada feels functionally large. You can also make it as luxurious as you want with available leather upholstery, heated seats, a heated steering wheel, and much more.
Cargo options are generously flexible with a power liftgate for ease of loading and unloading. Both rear rows of seats can be folded down to provide as much space as you need up to 95.4 cubic feet. The second row of seats is available either as a bench or with captain’s chairs to fit your preference.

Performance and 4WD

The V8 power in the 2022 Nissan Armada has you covered for most applications with 400 horsepower and 413 pound-feet of torque. This engine is paired with a seven-speed automatic transmission that includes options for hauling, towing, and even manual shifting. The Armada’s intelligent 4×4 system is ready for anything with selections for rain, mud, and snow.
Along with selectable 4WD modes, the Nissan Armada features impressive ground clearance, Hill Start Assist, and Active Brake Limited Slip. The latter two features are intelligent systems that back you up when you need them most. If you’re starting out on a steep hill, the Hill Start Assist system holds the brakes for an extra few seconds as you switch to the gas. The Active Brake system applies the brakes to the slipping wheel while transferring power to the wheels that aren’t slipping.

Tow and Haul With Confidence

When properly equipped, the 2022 Nissan Armada can tow up to 8,500 pounds. However, towing capacity isn’t the only thing that stamps an SUV as the machine you want for towing. The Armada goes further with a standard auto-leveling suspension that evens out rough roads when you tow. Another great feature is the Intelligent Around View Monitor, which allows you to see all around your vehicle in order to line up your hitch or find the best spot to park.
The Nissan Armada also offers available towing features like Trailer Sway Control and Trailer Brake Controller. Both of these features give you tighter control of your trailer in less-than-ideal situations.
The 2022 Nissan Armada is a solid choice in the three-row SUV market. It offers tough body-on-frame construction, plenty of power to tow your toys, lots of room for the family, and a very capable 4WD system for anything you might encounter.
