Cadillac Ventures Into Electric Cars With the 2023 Lyriq

Cadillac Ventures Into Electric Cars With the 2023 Lyriq

Every automaker is trying to get a piece of the electric vehicle pie. Cadillac is making a run to take the entire dessert with the new Lyriq.

Although the announcement for this revolutionary vehicle recently stopped the presses, it won’t be officially on the road until the 2023 models are released.

Reservations for the 2023 Cadillac Lyriq can be made starting on September 18th, 2021. Contact your local Cadillac dealer to learn how you can bring home this powerful electric SUV as soon as it’s ready.

High Performance At Every Turn

The Lyriq is set to come with a standard 10-kWh battery pack that will give you a range of 300 miles on a full charge. Keeping your SUV fully charged is actually pretty easy with both the standard or fast-charge adaptors. Where this electric SUV really shines is how it responds to your requests for power. Because it relies solely on an electric motor, you get almost instantaneous access to all 340 horsepower.

The standard setup involves a single electric motor that powers the rear-axel. Upgrade to the all-wheel-drive option, and you’ll have power going to both axels at the same time. Did I mention that the new Lyriq can blast off from zero to 60 mph in just 4.3 seconds? That’s the kind of speed and power you can expect from Cadillac’s first try at an electric car.

The Comforts of a Caddy

Since the Lyriq comes from Cadillac, you can be certain that it will offer every comfort and convenience feature on the market. You’ll have access to some familiar systems like Apple CarPlay/Android Auto and an available Wi-Fi hotspot. Where the Lyriq is going to really stand out is with its 33-inch curved LED display in your center console.

Putting your driving information and infotainment center into this massive screen means you’ll not only feel like you’re driving something from a science fiction novel, but you’ll also enjoy more legroom upfront. If you really want to treat your senses to an immaculate ride, make sure to check out the available premium 19-speaker AKG sound system.

Drive Into The Future Hands-Free

Cadillac is also going to use Lyriq to introduce the all-new Super Cruise feature. This semi-autonomous driving system combines everything you love about adaptive cruise control with some new elements.

When you’re on one of the many compatible roads, you can enact Super Cruise to just sit back and relax. This system can help you change lanes, avoid traffic, and keep a safe distance from other cars all by itself. While Super Cruise doesn’t mean you can take a nap or completely turn off your brain, it does allow for a little break while your Lyriq does all of the work.

Reserve Yours Right Away

If you’re excited about the release of this innovative SUV, make sure to stop by your local Cadillac dealer on September 18th to reserve yours. Otherwise, keep your eyes and ears open to learn everything that comes out about this amazing vehicle.
