Convertibles: The 4 BEST Drop-Tops for Summer Cruising

Convertibles: The 4 BEST Drop-Tops for Summer Cruising
Convertibles offer you the easiest way to put the top down on your sports car and have a great drive in the countryside.
With summer’s sizzle comes the perfect opportunity to get out of the house.
Why flee the AC?
Simple: you could cruise your neck of the woods in a sporty new convertible, that’s why.
Folks fortunate enough to have a convertible already know what I mean.
There’s just no better way to beat the heat than to drop the top and cruise your ‘hood while blasting some killer tunes.
Don’t have a drop-top but have been weighing the options?
Here are four great options for your consideration, so you can get away from the TV, get outside and feel that refreshing breeze as it flows freely through your hair.
**Editor’s Note: That is if you are lucky enough to have to still have hair. I don’t want my bald spot to get redder than a baboon’s bu—well you get the idea.
I just throw on a hat or some SPF 100.

4 Great Drop-tops to Get Your Summer Cruise-on

Chevrolet Corvette Stingrayconvertible-$90,125
If a budget isn’t your buddy or if you’ve got plenty of funds to fuel your summer, then the Stingray convertible is The One. A true American masterpiece even with a hardtop. But peel back the lid on this monster and you’re going to some serious heads.
Ford Mustang GT Premium convertible-$45,785
If there’s a runner-up to the Corvette’sright-of-passage vibe it’s the Ford Mustang. The GT Premium convertible doesn’t have that same visual “wow” impact as the Stingray, but it also doesn’t have that “how” factor either.
**Editor’s Note: As in: “How did I spend my entire life’s savings? Oh yeah, the Stingray. No regrets.”
Chevrolet Camaro-$32,695

Sure, I’m showing my bias front and center. Three convertibles, three traditional American icons. Well, the Fourth of July is right around the corner, so any USA-related sway is understandable. With a reasonable sticker price, the Chevrolet Camaro convertible provides affordable swagger. Unless, of course, you already blew the budget on a Stingray.

Fiat 124 Spider-$26,885
This convertible is the most cost-efficient one on the list. If your budget is small and your body even smaller then the Fiat 124 Spider ragtop won’t let you down.
*Editor’s Note: NOT fat-shaming here, just letting you know the Fiat is SMALL.
There’re no actual humans pictured inside the Fiat for a reason. For scale, a six-foot, 200-pound person could get into the Fiat 124 Spider. It’s exiting without the Jaws of Life that could be tricky.

Wrapping Up

There is a convertible for all budgets. So, if you think your summer is missing a little something, consider taking one of these convertibles for a test drive. It could be the thing to cure what ails you.
