Trail Control from Ford – This Brand has the Answers

Trail Control from Ford - This Brand has the Answers

This new feature from Ford is certainly right on the nose with the name Trail Control for you to enjoy the drive.

The development of the performance features we want for racing has made its way to many of our vehicles on the road to allow us an easier drive. Whether you choose the power of a sports car or the drive of a standard model that’s meant for the commute you make on a daily basis, the fact is, you’re going to have some features that have come from the track. Can the same be said for the vehicles that we love to take on the trails for the drive around the rocks and the roots?

Making the Move in the Ford F-150 Raptor

It’s no secret what you’ll want to do when you choose a high-powered and high–priced sports car. You want to head to the track for a lot of fun. These cars are now offered with shift control technology and a way to make your drive more fun. The same type of engineering is offered for the Ford F-150 Raptor which now has the ability to give you more control on the trails.

No More Hassle When You Drive

The challenges of driving on the trails used to mean you had to do everything. You had to shift up and down, you had to handle the steering, stay on the pedals, and in some cases, and you had to lock the hubs. Most of these needs have been gone, but most of the vehicles we take on the trails still require you to handle the pedals and make the vehicle move the way it needs to when you run into a challenge and need to get out. Thankfully, Trail Control has solved this issue.

What Does Ford Trail Control Do?

The new Trail Control Feature of the F-150 Raptor acts like cruise control on the trails. It manages the throttle and braking and allows you to simply focus on the steering during off-road driving. You can use this feature at speeds from 1 mph to 20 mph and make it through the mud and the muck without the need to get out and dig out or to worry about the obstacles in your path. The Raptor system will automatically make the changes and adjustments needed to help you have the drive you want and get where you need to go.

Ford Trail Control Arriving Next Year

The new Ford F-150 Raptor will arrive at dealerships in the early part of next year and Trail Control will be offered. This feature will be offered on the new Ford Ranger as well to give you a pair of trucks with the feature that makes off-road fun better for you. Now, we have a system on the market that makes the drive in the wilderness less of a hassle and more of a joy when we get behind the wheel and head out for a drive.
