Genesis is Making a New Move in Luxury

Genesis is Making a New Move in Luxury

The Genesis brand was created from Hyundai when the Genesis and Equus were just much better than what you expect from the Hyundai name.

This new Genesis brand took these two models and created the G80 from the old Genesis and the G90 from the former Equus. Even though the Genesis brand is about to offer us a new small sedan for the drive, which is the G70 model, the two models we’ve known and loved for a long time are ready to take on updates that will give them a new look.

Teasing What Will Take Place

While we’ve admired the way the two models have created a new brand and entered the luxury market to take on the brands that have occupied this space for a long time, the G80 and G90 will now have upgraded styling for us to admire. We’ve seen some of the updates that will take place for the G80 already, but now we have seen a spy shot of what could be the upcoming Genesis G90 with a completely fresh new look on the outside. This new look was teased on one of the Korean media sites from Hyundai to get us excited.

What Does the New Look Bring

The new G90 will show up with a new and more aggressive nose that has a curvy and swept-back look on the current model. The headlights are going to be positioned low and horizontal and offer us slim LED accents that will split each of the headlamps and extend outward toward the fenders. The grill is changed from a slat look to one that has a deep set of mesh for the design to give us the style that we want which will also what we see with the upgraded G80 model.

More Looks that Could be Changed

With the dynamic and substantial changes that are made to the front of the G90, you can expect that we will also see major changes to the rear of the car to give us an upgraded appearance package. Expect to see this car with its new looks prowling the streets in Korea before it arrives in the US, but it will make the move to our shores and be the new G90 that carries the flag for the Genesis name and allows us to see the difference from the old Equus model from Hyundai.

The Forward Movement of Genesis

While we might be growing impatient to see the first Genesis SUV or a sports car that comes from this brand, the fact that the Hyundai team is allowing Genesis to take its time and gain footing in the market, says a lot about what this brand has to offer. We can expect to see new models to follow the G70 to the market but don’t rush the process, Genesis is taking its time and what we see so far is exactly what we want to enjoy from this impressive new luxury brand.
