One of the newest additions to the Hyundai lineup is an SUV that slots below the Tucson to be one of the smallest vehicles in the SUV world.
This impressive new vehicle is the Hyundai Kona, which offers you a subcompact crossover build that you want to enjoy when you take a drive. There’s an electric version of the Kona that gives you 258 miles of driving range and a fantastic way to have the ride you want. You’ll be pleased with the long list of features and easy driving personality of the Kona that you want to take with you on the road.

Hyundai Adds More to the Kona

The Hyundai Kona is a little SUV that gives you a lot for your drive. The Ultimate trim now has adaptive cruise control, but you’ll find a long list of standard safety features for every model of this SUV. You’ll be pleased to have the benefits of wireless phone charging on more trims than in the past and enjoy the SEL Plus trim that has been added to the lineup. The Kona EV Ultimate model includes a 10.25-inch touchscreen for the infotainment system, giving you a big screen in a little SUV.

The exterior of the Hyundai Kona is stylish and offers an artistic quality to it, while the interior gives you a reasonable and practical feeling during your drive. You’ll have the 2-row/5-passenger area you want that gives you the comfort and quality that makes sense when you’re ready to take a drive. The controls are easy to find and the materials are enjoyable to see and admire. Every model of the Kona has the connectivity and settings you want when its time for you to get connected and take a comfortable drive to wherever you need to go.

The Standard Items of the Kona

The starting point for the Hyundai Kona is the SE Trim. This model brings you a nice list of features at the lowest price to give you the package you want to enjoy. You’ll have a seven-inch touchscreen, Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, 16-inch alloy wheels, keyless entry, dual front USB ports, and safety features that help you when you’re on the road. Move up to the SEL trim and you’ll have the addition of blind-spot monitoring, heated front seats, push-button starting, hidden cargo compartments, roof rails, rear privacy glass, heated side mirrors, HD and satellite radio, and the option for a contrast-color roof.

Hyundai Adds More for Your Drive

The base version of the Hyundai Kona EV is the SEL trim which gives you the same items as the gasoline model. The SEL Plus trim allows you to have an eight-way power driver’s seat, a power sunroof, an Infinity premium audio system, fog lights, an auto-dimming rearview mirror, wireless hone charging, and the Blue Link system. The Limited trim gives you leather upholstery, automatic climate controls, 18-inch alloy wheels, and LED headlights. The Ultimate trim gives you adaptive cruise control, an eight-inch touchscreen, a navigation system, a head-up display, automatic high beams, rear parking sensors, and rain-sensing wipers.

The Right Power for the Kona

You’ll have three ways to power the Hyundai Kona that you want to drive and enjoy on the road. The base powertrain comes with a 2.0-liter four-cylinder engine mated to a six-speed automatic transmission to give you 147 horsepower and 132 lb.-ft. of torque. Limited and Ultimate trims use a 1.6-liter turbocharged four-cylinder engine matched to a seven-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission to give you 175 horsepower and 195 lb.-ft. of torque. the Kona EV offers you a Permanent Magnet Synchronous Motor to give you 201 horsepower and 291 lb.-ft. of torque and 258 miles of range on a full charge.
