This Nissan Rogue is Too Cool for You

This Nissan Rogue is Too Cool for You

There’s a new Nissan Rogue that’s going to make the loop as a show car that we can admire. If you’re a sci-fi fan, you’ll probably like it, too.

Don’t try and tell me you’re not a “Star Wars Nerd,” there are more of us than not. Whether you’re an avid follower of the Star Wars movies and love to dress up for the show when a new movie arrives or you simply head to the theater a couple of weeks after the movie is released, there’s no denying the affinity we have for Star Wars and the success this franchise has had over the years.

The Nissan Rogue was quickly the theme car when the partnership began and now Nissan has created a vehicle that follows the theme of the newest movie which is called Solo: A Star Wars Story. This new show vehicle is based on the 2018 Nissan Rogue and its crafted after the Millennium Falcon which is one of the most ironic ships in the entire Star Wars movie lineup as its always being called a piece of garbage even though it happens to be one of the fastest ships in the entire galaxy.

The Theme of this Rouge Inside and Out

The interior of the Nissan Rogue shows off buttons, lights, and sound effects that resemble the sounds you expect in the cockpit of the famous ship it’s based on. The front and second-row seats are built to look just like the seating in the cockpit of the move and you’ll see a center-mounted hyperdrive control that’s used many times over in the movie to allow the Millennial Falcon to escape capture. Of course, in this Rogue, the hyperdrive won’t get you too far and you can’t shift into light speed.

On the outside, you can see this is one of the most incredible projects taken on by Nissan. There are custom handcrafted aluminum body panels with details that take their inspiration from the ship. 3D printing was used for some custom inserts to offer a more realistic look and a radar dish is mounted along with a laser cannon to give the roof a familiar appearance that you see many times over in the movies with the ship as it flies around the galaxy. The rear of the vehicle has a glowing blue set of lights that span the entire rear of the Rogue to give this an amazing look for this SUV.

This is the third installment vehicles that are specially made for the movie franchise and certainly, this is also the most complete and thrilling version offered thus far from Nissan. While you can’t purchase the Nissan Rogue with the Millennium Falcon theme, you’ll be able to take a good look at what’s been done to make this vehicle one that you’re certainly going to admire when you see it. Take a look at the video below and check out what the Nissan team was able to create to celebrate the latest Star Wars movie.
