The Tahoe is More Exciting

Chevrolet Tahoe

When you’re looking for a vehicle that can offer you the driving experience you want and the size you need in a large SUV, often you have to choose between the two. Even in a model that’s as admired as the Chevrolet Tahoe, you would often have to settle for the methodical drive that comes with this vehicle when you head out on the road, but there is a new version for you to drive. The Tahoe has been upgraded for 2018 with a Rally Sport Truck (RST) model that is ready to give you more of what you want.

What is it you’re looking for when you choose this large SUV for the drive? You’re searching for more performance for the drive which means you’ll want to have the Magnetic Ride Control, the Borla exhaust system, and the Brembo front brakes for the drive in this new Tahoe. This Tahoe RST also rides on 22-inch wheels that are exclusive to this model. The rest of the build of this vehicle is part of what you’ll find in the standard Tahoe trims to give you the comfort and continue to allow you to have the capability you need.

Not everything else is standard for the RST version of the Tahoe. The engine is an upgraded model for you to have the power you want from a 6.2-liter V8 power plant. This engine pumps out 420 horsepower and 460 lb.-ft. of torque for the power, you need to make this drive more exciting for you. This engine is mated to a ten-speed automatic transmission to give you the ride you’ve been searching for and the shift points you want when you take it out on the road for the drive that requires you to have everything you need on the road.

Stepping Inside

When you get inside this impressive new model of the Tahoe, you’re going to be impressed with all the features and qualities that are present. This version is based on the Premier trim that’s offered which means you have a fully loaded model to drive. You’ll love the technology you find but seriously admire the comfort of the heated leather seats that can offer you the seating position you want when you drive. The steering wheel is supple and impressive for you to have the feeling you want when on the road.

As you would expect from an impressive SUV such as this one, you’ll have as much as 94.7 cubic feet of cargo room when all the seat fold down to give you the space you need to carry the load you’re going to bring with you. There is a color heads-up display to give you the speed and direction you want and the impressive Chevrolet MyLink infotainment system that can help keep all your passengers entertained on the road with the benefits of the Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, and the 4G LTE Wi-Fi hotspot that you’ll want to make use of on the road.

Active safety is a priority in the Tahoe RST with the inclusion of lane departure warnings, forward collision alerts, blind spot monitoring, and a rearview camera. You’ll love the way the flip down rear entertainment system can help keep everyone occupied on the road so that you can make full use of the power and performance this impressive SUV has for you to enjoy on the road. This is an SUV that haseverything you need while giving you the driving personality that you might have felt was missing from the package in the past.

Knowing What You’re Getting

Is the new Chevrolet Tahoe RST a vehicle that’s going to come at a low price and sip fuel? No, it isn’t, but if you want an SUV that offers you a ton of excellent features and upgrades the performance items above what the regular Tahoe model has for you to experience, this is the one you’ll want. This impressive large SUV offers you a drive that you’ll want on the road with the sound and performance offered by the Borla exhaust system and ten-speed automatic transmission. Let this be the SUV that makes driving a bit more fun than it has been in the past while you enjoy the function of this amazing model.

If you’re looking for something a little smaller, but still big on comfort and convenience, opt for the Chevrolet Traverse. This vehicle won’t let you–or your family–down!
